Party Ideas

Planning a party with your child?  Looking for some healthy alternatives to junk filled 'goody' bags?  Look no further!

• Buy some inexpensive picture frames (or make your own with foam/felt/unpainted wood) and break out your Polaroid or digital camera so that each child can leave with a photo of him/herself and the birthday boy/girl.

• Create (or purchase die-cut) fun shapes from foam board, string colorful yarn through a hole punched in the top, add a puff of scented cotton balls and you've created an instant air freshener!

• Use the season to spark your creativity ~ In the fall, give each child a mini-pumpkin to decorate ~ In the winter, collect pinecones and dip the edges in glue and then glitter ~ Send in ideas for spring and summer!

• Make princess crowns for all the little ladies and treasure boxes from mini-unpainted nesting boxes with paint and gems glued on top.

• Enlist the help of your neighborhood mother's helper and have each child get their face painted.
