Directions to Spring-Ford Schools

Spring-Ford School District lies just off the Royersford Exit of Route 422.  If coming from the King of Prussia area, head west on 422.  If coming from the Pottstown/Reading areas, head east on 422.

While most Spring-Ford Senior High School events are held in or at the Senior High School, football games and track & field meets are held in Coach McNelly Stadium, which lies behind Spring-Ford Middle School Eighth Grade Center.

If traveling from the north, use route 100 to Pottstown and follow the directions for traveling east on route 422.  Or, use the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike and the East/West Turnpike to reach King of Prussia and follow the directions for traveling west on route 422.

If traveling from the south, use route 100 to Pottstown and follow the directions for traveling east on route 422.  Or, use route 202 north to reach King of Prussia and follow the directions for traveling west on route 422.

If traveling west on route 422 from King of Prussia area:

For the High School, Middle School Eighth Grade Center, Intermediate/Middle School Seventh Grade Center, Brooke Elementary, Royersford Elementary, Spring City Elementary, Upper Providence Elementary, and the Maintenance Building:

Exit at the Royersford exit.  Turn left at the light at the end of the ramp onto Township Line Road/Main Street. Continue to the light at Lewis Road and Main Street (car dealer will be on the left; pharmacy on the right).  From this point, follow directions below to individual schools.

For the Spring-Ford High School and the Middle School Eighth Grade Center: Turn left onto Lewis Road for three blocks.  The Spring-Ford High School (grades 10-12) sits on the left side of the road; Spring-Ford High School (grade 9) sits on the right side of the road. 

For the Spring-Ford Middle School Eighth Grade Center: Turn left onto Lewis Road for two blocks.  Make the second right onto Washington Street.  The school sits on left side of the road.

For Royersford Elementary School: Go straight onto Main Street until the second traffic signal at Fourth Avenue.  Turn left onto Fourth Avenue.  Travel three blocks and turn left into Spring Street and the school parking lot.  The main entrance is straight ahead.

For Brooke Elementary School: Turn right onto Lewis Road.  Follow Lewis Road approximately half a mile.  The Brooke Elementary School is on the left side of the road at the first traffic signal.

For Spring City Elementary School: Continue straight on Main Street.  Follow Main Street approx. 1.25 miles through Royersford, across train tracks and over Schuylkill River Bridge into Spring City.  The road will come to a "T" at the traffic light.  Turn left onto Main Street (Spring City).  Take the second right onto New Street.  Follow New Street to Wall Street.  Turn left onto Wall Street.  Follow Wall Street approx. half a mile through neighborhood.  Continue straight at the stop sign.  Spring City Elementary School will be on right.

For the Spring-Ford Area School District Maintenance Building, the Upper Providence Elementary School, and the Intermediate/Middle School Seventh Grade Center: Turn left onto Lewis Road.  You will pass the High School on the left (grades 10-12) and on the right (grade 9).  When you come to the "T" in the road bear left to continue on Lewis Road.  You will pass under Route 422 and shortly thereafter you will see a sign on the left for the Maintenance Building and the entrance to the complex.  After entering the complex, the Maintenance Building will be on the left, Upper Providence Elementary School will  bear off to the right and the Intermediate/Middle School Seventh Grade Center will be straight ahead.

For Limerick Elementary, Oaks Elementary School, Western Center for Technical Studies and District Office: 

For Limerick Elementary: Exit 422 West at the Limerick Exit.  At the light at end of ramp, turn right.  Proceed a short distance to Cherry Lane.  Turn left onto Cherry Lane.  Follow Cherry Lane to Limerick Center Road (first main road on right).  Bear right onto Limerick Center Road.  Continue on Limerick Center Road for approx. a quarter-mile.  Limerick Elementary will be on the right side of the road. 

For Oaks Elementary: Exit 422 West at the Oaks Exit.  At the light at end of ramp, turn left.  Turn right at the first traffic signal after passing beneath 422.  Turn right onto Black Rock Road.  Follow to Green Tree Road.  Turn left onto Green Tree.  Turn right at Oaks School Drive.  Follow straight to the school parking lot.

For Western Center for Technical Studies: Exit 422 West at the Limerick Exit.  At the light at end of ramp, turn right.  Follow around curves until the road comes to a "T".  At the "T", turn left onto Ridge Pike.  Follow Ridge Pike to Sunset Drive (on the right immediately past the Farmer's Market).  Turn right onto Sunset Drive.  Follow to the "T" in the road.  Turn left onto Gratersford Road.  The school will sit on your right.  To enter the parking lot, follow Gratersford to the top of the hill and turn right into parking lot at the Front Entrance of school.

For the District Office: Exit 422 West at the Oaks Exit.  At the light at end of ramp, turn left.  At the third traffic signal after passing beneath 422, turn right onto Black Rock Road.  Follow Black Rock Road to Route 113 (Valley Forge Baptist Temple will be on your right).  Turn right onto 113.  Follow to Bechtel Road (first traffic signal).  Turn left onto Bechtel Road.  The District Office will sit on the left side.

If traveling east on route 422 from Pottstown/Reading areas:

For the High School, Middle School, Intermediate School, Flex School, Brooke Elementary, Royersford Elementary, Spring City Elementary, Upper Providence Elementary, District Office, and the Maintenance Building:

Exit at the Royersford exit.  Turn right at the light at the end of the ramp onto Township Line Road/Main Street.  Continue to the light at Lewis Road and Main Street (car dealer will be on the left; pharmacy on the right).  From this point, follow directions below to individual schools.

For the District Office: Turn left onto Lewis Road.  You will pass the High School on the left (grades 10-12) and on the right (grade 9).  When you come to the "T" in the road bear left to continue on Lewis Road.  You will pass under Route 422 and pass the Maintenance Building, Middle School Seventh Grade Center, and Upper Providence Elementary on the left.  Continue on Lewis Road as it winds up hill for about 2 miles.  Stay on Lewis Road as it swings right at the power lines.  Proceed straight onto Bechtel Road at the stop sign at the intersection of Lewis Road, Fruit Farm Road, and West Seventh Avenue.  As you continue, Bechtel Road makes a sharp right turn.  Immediately after that turn, make the left turn to continue on Bechtel rather than straight onto Old State Road.  The District Office will sit on right side. 

For Limerick Elementary, Oaks Elementary School, Western Center for Technical Studies and District Office:

To Limerick Elementary: Exit 422 East at the Limerick Exit.  At the light at end of ramp, turn left.  Proceed a short distance to Cherry Lane.  Turn left onto Cherry Lane.  Follow Cherry Lane to Limerick Center Road (first main road on right).  Bear right onto Limerick Center Road.  Continue on Limerick Center Road for approx. a quarter-mile.  The Limerick Elementary School will be on the right side of the road.

To Oaks Elementary: Exit 422 East at the Oaks Exit.  At light at end of ramp, go straight  onto Black Rock Road.  Follow it to Green Tree Road.  Turn left onto Green Tree.  Turn right at Oaks School Drive.  Follow straight to the school parking lot.
