Text Box: Mrs. Yost’s Classroom Text Box: June’s Newsletter Text Box: I cannot believe that June is here and it is time for your children to move on to the next grade level. It has been such a pleasure working with your children and watching them grow. Ms. Rodgers and I are amazed of how far they have grown and how much they have accomplished throughout year. I hope that you have also seen growth in your child’s progress. I also hope that they enjoyed coming to school each day and didn’t give you a hard time! It is very important to reinforce all of the skills they have learned throughout the year such as: addition and subtraction math facts, multiplication and division facts, multiplying two and three digits numbers, solving word problems, practice reading fluency, reading comprehension, writing complete sentences, writing paragraphs, spelling, and punctuation. Encourage your child to read for at least 15 minutes each day. I would sincerely like to thank you for all of your support and your dedication over this past year in helping your child and working with me to help your child succeed. I realize many nights are often a struggle to get your child to do their homework and they are tired from the busy day, but they will thank you one day for it. Have a safe and wonderful summer!
