Walkers:

  • For the safety of all students, walkers should not be at the crosswalk until 8:40 AM.  The crossing guard will cross students beginning at 8:40 AM until 8:50 AM.  After 8:50 AM parents must accompany their child to the school.  Walkers will be dismissed at 3:40 PM and are walked to the crossing guard by a monitor.

AM- Student Drop - Off by Car:

  • Parents/Guardians who find it necessary to drive their child to school, are asked to drop off their child at the Student Drop Off Area (Door #13) adjacent to the parking area Please note that this area is one-way in and one-way out area.
  • Drop-off time is 8:35 AM - 8:50 AM.  Please pull up to the curb in the area marked "Student Drop Off" and have your child disembark on the curb side and enter Door #13  until 8:50 AM.
  • Students should enter the front door after 8:50 AM with the regular bus students.  It is important to keep the traffic flow moving so a back-up of traffic does not occur.  Please follow the arrows and directions signs so that we can ensure the maximum safety for your children, you and our staff.
  • Children being dropped off after 9:00 AM enter the school by the main entrance (Door #1) in front of the building and report to the Office.  Parents are asked to park in the lot and walk the students to the office.  Any student arriving after 9:00 AM will be required to be signed in by a parent or guardian and will be considered tardy.

PM  Student Pick-up by Car:

  • Student pick-up time is 3:40 PM to 3:55 PM at Door #13.  This door is opened at 3:35 PM.
  • Children being picked up must be signed out by a parent / guardian or designated person.  If someone other than the parent / guardian is picking up student, we must have in writing from the parent the name of the person designated to pick up the student.
  • Parents picking up student at dismissal must park in the designated parking lot in front of Door #13 NO PARKING IS PERMITTED ANYWHERE ALONG THE CURB.  PLEASE PARK IN THE LOT AND ENTER THE BUILDING THROUGH DOOR #13.

STUDENT PICK-UP FORM - found on web
Please complete and return this form on the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL.  This form will be kept on file for the entire school year.  Thank you.

Bus Stops:

  • It is recommended that students be at their bus stop five minutes early on the first few days of school.  Remember that school bus safety begins at the bus stop.  Pushing, fighting, etc. must be avoided.  It is also recommended that an adult accompany students to bus stops if at all possible.  This helps to prevent problems.

Lunch:

  • An elementary school lunch will cost $2.40 / day or $12.00 / week, an extra entree may be purchased for $1.00. You may buy your lunch or bring a packed lunch each day.  White or chocolate milk may be purchased at the cost of $.40  per half-pint carton; 8 oz. bottle water may be purchased for a cost of $.50.  The elementary school uses POS System which enables you to send in any amount of money to be put on account for your student.  This money may be used for lunch, milk or snack purchases.  Please remember to provide the office with a current email address and lunch account balance information will be sent to you via email for easy record keeping.
