Weekly Announcements

1. Congratulations to the students who recently performed in the school play, Lagooned. Your hard work and committed efforts afforded the audience with a great night filled with laughter and suspense.

2. Any student interested in auditioning for our annual Talent Show will have an opportunity to do so on Thursday, April 17^th beginning at 3:00 PM in the auditorium of the 8^th Grade Center. The Talent Show is scheduled for Thursday, May 22^nd beginning at 7:00 PM in the 9^th Grade Center.

3. Spring portraits for the 8^th Grade Center will be taken on Wednesday, April 30^th. Link to Spring Portrait Letter.

4. There is a Home and School Meeting scheduled for Thursday, May 15^h beginning at 7:00 PM in the Media Center of the 7^th Grade Center. All interested parents are encouraged to attend.

5. Written notification has been sent to all parents and/or guardians regarding the school district’s concern and recent school board policy adoption regarding the inappropriate use of the Internet and other electronic communication devices by students during the school day while on school property. In addition, a school-wide assembly was held that specifically focused on the potential dangers found on the Internet and how students should take the appropriate steps to secure their privacy within their various online accounts. 6. As we are starting the fourth marking period and experiencing warmer weather, the school is asking for continued parent assistance and cooperation in maintaining student compliance with the guidelines established in our Dress Code Policy.
