Summer Reading Requirement 

 

The English Department Staff is committed to encouraging every student to become a lifelong reader.  In order to achieve that goal, students registered for Honors or Advanced Placement English classes should complete the following required readings prior to the first day of school.  Teachers will assess students' understanding of the assigned works through essays, tests, projects or cooperative activities.

 

Note: Copies of assigned books are readily available at area libraries and bookstores.  Copies of this list have been distributed to libraries in Royersford, Spring City, Pottstown, Phoenixville, Schwenksville and both the Montgomery County and Chester County Libraries.  Lists have also been sent to bookstores in Pottstown, Trappe and King of Prussia.
