Gifted

GSR Gifted Support Resource Periods

                    All grades variable                       0 credit

                      Students may participate in the Gifted Program by signing up to take their study halls with an AT mentor in one of the AT rooms.  Students use their time to make use of the games, puzzles, and college and career exploration materials available in each room.  They are encouraged to develop a working relationship with the adult mentor, and use the opportunity to work together on any academic, social, or emotional needs.  Mentors are available to check over college applications for 12^th graders.  Students also enjoy greater flexibility in Gifted Support Resource periods and the opportunity to work together with other gifted students.  Students need not register for Gifted Support Resource Periods at this time.  In the fall, you will have the opportunity to sign up for these, in place of your assigned study halls.  These study halls ore open are open only to gifted students with active GIEP’s and with mentor permission.
