Spring-Ford Area School District

• Pricing: One full lunch costs $2.40.  Extra lunch entrees may be purchased for $1.00.  See snack options and prices below.

• Payment: The Spring-Ford Area School District cafeterias use a computer software point-of-sale (POS) system to track lunches and cafeteria inventory.  The student buys their lunch, milk or snack by keying their 6-digit student ID into a key pad.  The cafeteria staff verify the student's name and the student's purchase is deducted from the money you have submitted to their account.  When the account is almost empty, the student's account is flagged and a "low balance" e-mail is mailed to the current e-mail address on file.

  • Parents can sign up to pay for lunch electronically.  Go to Community|Lunch Payments on the top menu bar

  • Instead of paying electronically, parents can send in checks or cash which is credited to the student's account.  Please make checks payable to Spring-Ford Cafeteria.  One full lunch costs $2.40.  You may send in a check for any amount and at any time.  Please put lunch checks in an envelope marked with the student's and teacher's names.

• Each lunch includes a minimum of the following:  2 oz protein/alternate, 3/4 cup fruit/vegetable, serving bread/alternate, 8 oz milk.  Extra lunch entrees may be purchased for $1.00.

  • Beverages: Milk is included with all full lunches.  Milk choices are:  2% White Milk, Strawberry Milk, Low-fat Chocolate Milk.  Other beverage choices are below.

  • Snack Information:  Snacks are available daily.  Pricing ranges from $.30 to $.65    All snacks are under 250 calories.

    • Snack Permission - If the parent does NOT want the student to use their POS account for snacks, they need to complete a "lunch only form" obtained from the teacher and return it to school.
