Spring-Ford Spotlight: Farewell Mr. Ciresi & Mrs. Spletzer

Image
The Spring-Ford Area School District said farewell to two School Board members on November 27th. Best wishes to School Board member Kelly Spletzer and School Board President Joe Ciresi.

During the meeting, Mrs. Spletzer said, "It is bittersweet tonight, the last time I'll sit at this table. It has been an honor, an experience I'll cherish forever, serving the students and the community of Spring-Ford."

Joe Ciresi, exiting School Board President, spoke fondly of his time on the board. "I had the honor to sit here for 12 years and serve with some great people over that time. I got involved on a whim, not really knowing what I got into and it was one of the best opportunities I've had in my life. I'm proud to say I'm a resident of Spring-Ford. My wife and I chose to raise our son here, we chose this community and it was a great choice. I have appreciated and loved every minute of sitting at this board table."

Thank you, Kelly and Joe!
