The students are introduced to the Palmer Method of cursive writing during the second marking period.  Cursive is taught to the students in  method specific lessons starting with the basic motions of  the strokes.
Cursive writing is extremely exciting for the students to learn.  We ask that you do not try teaching cursive writing to your child.  It may make it more difficult for your child to learn the method that is being taught at school.
