You will be assigned activities from this spelling menu throughout the year.  Each activity is due the next school day.

*Please be sure to have your name and date on the top line of all assignments.

Activity #1:  Practice this week’s word list with a parent.

 Activity #2:  Write all of your words three times each.

 Activity #3:  Write all of your words using two colors.  Use RED for vowels (A, E, I, O, U) and  BLUE for consonants.

 Activity #4:  Write all of your words with a crayon.  Trace over each word with another crayon.  Do not use brown or black. 

 Activity #5:  Using graph paper, create a word search.  Write the hidden words at the bottom of the paper.

 Activity #6:  Scramble the letters for each word.  Write the answer key on the back of your  paper.

 Activity #7:  Create shape boxes for each of your words.  Write the answer key on the back of your paper.

 Activity #8:  Write your words in ABC order.

 Activity #9:   Write your words in ZYX order.

 Activity #10:  Write 5 sentences (or more) using all of your words.

 Activity #11:  Write 5 question sentences (or more) using all of your words.

 Activity #12:  Write your words in cursive two times each.

 Activity #13:  Prepare for your final test.  Take a practice test at home with a parent.

 Activity #14:  Write any words that were spelled incorrectly on your spelling test ten times  each.   Have a parent sign and return the test ASAP.
