Field Trips
Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
A guide from our state representative’s office will meet our group at the Capitol. The children will participate in a guided tour of the capitol building, as well as have the opportunity to investigate the visitor’s center. Additionally, they will visit The State Museum. Exhibits featured there include Memorial Hall; Market, Home & Shop; Brockerhoff House; Archaeology & Anthropology; Civil War; Industry & Technology; Geology & Paleontology, Mammal Hall; and Natural Science & Ecology. This is an extended day field trip, and we expect to arrive back at the school at approximately 4:45.
Pennsbury Manor
Pennsbury Manor is the country estate home of William Penn. Mr. Penn was the founder of Pennsylvania, statesman and diplomat. While there the children will participate in special programs, workshops and exhibits of the colonial world.
