Author:
Include the following
information in the order listed.
- Author's last name
(comma-,) first name (period-.)
- Book title -
underlined or in italics (period-.) If a
subtitle is used list the title (colon-:)
subtitle (period-.)
- Edition-abbreviated ed
(period-.) (this only applies if the edition is
listed on the title page - never include 1st
ed.)
- Place of publication
(colon-:) Use whatever is on the title page -
just city or city (comma-,) state.
- Publisher (comma-,)
- Year published
