The Hour of Code started as an one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify "code", to show that anybody can learn the basics, and to broaden participation in the field of computer science. It has since become a worldwide effort to celebrate computer science, starting with an 1-hour coding activity. During the month of December, students will be participating in this initiative by visiting a computer lab and completing a "code" program.
Students can continue their coding at home if they wish. Click here for the directions.
