Veterans Day will be celebrated on November 10th 2017. Both the 5th grade and the 6th grade will have an assembly honoring our Veterans. If a member of your family would like to join the assembly please complete this form. The deadline has been extended to October 31st.

There will be a 5/6 Multicultural Thanksgiving Dinner for 5th and 6th grade students and their parents/guardians on Friday, November 17th from 6-8p.m. Click here for more information and the RSVP form.

Join us on November 15, 2017 for an event for JUST GIRLS and their moms. Learn about the exciting non-traditional career training opportunities for girls grades 5 - 11 at the Western Montgomery Career & Technology Center from 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm. .

H&S will be hosting a Skate day on Saturday, November 4th. There are two sessions this year! 11 am – 12:30p.m.

OR 1:30p.m. – 3:00p.m.

$5.00 per student for 5th and 6th grade students only.

5/6 yearbooks may now be ordered! They can be ordered in two ways. First, you can go to yearbookforever.com and order a yearbook online or you can print the order form and send in money to school. Click Here for the order form.

The following clubs will be starting up soon! Please have your student listen to the daily announcements to find out how to join a club. Parents, the daily announcements are posted on the website everyday to help you stay informed.

Art - This section is closed, there will be future opportunities.

Builders Club -Thursday – October 5th at 8:00 a.m. (It is a student-led organization that is devoted to community service) We collect pop tabs throughout the year, we make cards for the Veterans, collect food for the food pantries and many more activities! It meets the first Thursday of the month – at 8:00 a.m.- BEFORE school. They do NOT need a permission slip to attend this meeting!

Homework Club - Nov.

Computer Club -This section is closed, there will be future opportunities.

Chess Club - 6th grade club is running now. 5th grade club will start November 8th. Check back for permission slip.

Reading Olympics - meet once a month: 5th grade on a Wednesday, 6th grade on a Thursday. Space is limited. Click Here for the 5th grade permission slip. Click Here for the 6th grade permission slip. Permission slips due by October 13th. Participants will be chosen by lottery.
