7th Grade Announcements

The MS Winter Play has be CANCELLED for Friday, December 15th. Students will have a mandatory practice on Tuesday, December 19th after school. The play has been rescheduled for Wednesday, December 20th at the 8th grade center at 7:00 p.m.

The next World Language Club event will be on Thursday, December 14th. The theme for this event is Holiday Celebrations! Join us as we learn different European holiday traditions and even earn some prizes! In addition, we will be making New Year's cards in French and Spanish. Click Here for permission slip. Please return permission slip to Mrs. Munoz or Mrs Brown.

The Hour of Code started as an one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify "code", to show that anybody can learn the basics, and to broaden participation in the field of computer science. It has since become a worldwide effort to celebrate computer science, starting with an 1-hour coding activity. During the month of December, students will be participating in this initiative by visiting a computer lab and completing a "code" program.

Students can continue their coding at home if they wish. Click here for the directions.

Let's spread some holiday cheer for all the people that we hold dear.

This is one of our yearly events that merely costs you 50 cents.

Send a positive message on a candy cane treat to express how they are wonderful and sweet.

All proceeds go to help our school so that we can continue to do things that are cool.

The 5/6/7 Grade Center will be holding their annual "gift of giving" event that encourages our students

to send positive messages to classmates.

5/6th Grade sale can purchase during homeroom in the lobby from 12/13-19.

7th Grade sale can purchase during lunch from 12/6-12.

Parents, if you would like to purchase one for your student you may come into the office during office hours 7:45 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. during the dates of the sale for your student.

The Friends and the Community Club is collecting plastic bottle caps to create an upcycled school mural. Please send in cleaned plastic bottle caps of all sizes and colors. Avoid sending in caps that have been exposed to chemicals. Caps from drinks, laundry detergent, jars, baby food pouches, etc. will work great! The collection is ongoing, students can give collected caps to their homeroom teachers.

Parents please keep in mind the dates for the 2018 PSSAs.
