The Green Initiative - Verifying and Updating Student and Parent/Guardian Information

At Spring-Ford, a significant quantity of information is presented or collected electronically.  Additionally, we frequently contact families using Skylert, our family contact system.  With Skylert families have the ability to change and to add contact numbers and e-mail addresses through Skyward Family Access.  (Families without Internet and e-mail still have opportunities to receive communications through other means.)  Click here for Skylert instructions.

 

Through Skyward Family Access, you are now able to review information about transportation and see information about your child(ren)'s teachers.  First day packets have been revised to reduce your writing requirements. 

 

Families should periodically review and revise (when necessary) student information through Skyward Family Access.  If you know families that don't have Internet access, please advise them to contact their child's school so that other arrangements can be made....we don't want anyone left out!

 

Families with Internet access and with students in the Spring-Ford Area School District should register their e-mail address into Skyward, our student information system.  Over 80% of our students are already represented by at least one guardian with a registered e-mail address in Skyward.  Are you in that group?

Spring-Ford does NOT reveal or provide your e-mail address to any other organization!

 

If you do not have your Skyward Family Access logon information, please contact the office at your child(ren)'s school.

 

Informational items with respect to Skyward Family Access

  • The 2nd and 3rd "Instructions" links below provide you with PDF instructions that you may view from your computer screen with Adobe Reader while you work in Skyward Family Access. 

  • If you find Skyward Family Access to be very slow, please wait until a later time.  (Access can be slower in late August and early September.)

  • If you are new to Spring-Ford, it is possible that not all of your information is yet entered into Skyward Family Access.  Be assured that we are diligently working to complete entry of new data.

  • When updating emergency contacts, use the contact's legal name (no nicknames).

  • Your address cannot be changed online, you MUST visit your child's school and show appropriate proof of residency.

  • Do NOT use comment boxes to ask for special phone numbers or special e-mail addresses to be used in specific situations; special requests when related to mass contact situations cannot be accommodated.  Place all of your phone numbers and e-mail addresses in the Skylert boxes for those purposes.  Click here for Skylert instructions.

  • Enter or change your registered e-mail address (click here for instructions).

  • Review and update student information including emergency contacts (click here for PDF instructions).

  • Review and update your Skylert phone numbers and e-mail addresses (click here for PDF instructions).
