Here is the mosaic mural that the Art Club students created! Great job students! It is hanging up in the hall to the right of the lobby. Thanks to all of the students for the hard work and dedication they showed in creating the mural!

Another school year is coming to an end. It has been my pleasure to have your children in art. Have a wonderful summer and I look forward to seeing your children in the fall!

SKETCHBOOK ASSIGNMENTS Complete any of these projects over the summer to practice your drawing skills! Draw a picture of your shoe showing it from 3 different views on the same page. Take your shoe off so you can see it. Fill a page with drawings of bugs. Fill a page with drawings of seashells. Take your shoe off and examine it closely. Feel its contours, look inside it, turn it upside down. Once you are familiar with it, draw a picture of it. Over 2 pages show the gradual transformation of a pair of scissors into another object – example: scissors into a shark. Make a detailed drawing of your hand holding something related to school.
