All about Mrs. Ruffo

 

  I am a proud graduate of the Spring-Ford Area School District and I have been teaching in the district for 12 years!!!  I taught five years of Gifted Support in both the elementary and middle school and five years of 6th grade Language Arts and Social Studies.  I have been teaching 4th Grade at Upper Providence for the past 2 years.  I also spent 8 years coaching the high school cheerleading squad.  Some of you may also recognize me from the Cool School Program the past three summers where I taught the Spanish classes. 

  This is my third year here at Upper Providence, and I LOVE IT!!!  I find the programs including our school-wide meetings, fun reading incentives, and lots of parental involvement make UP a wonderful learning environment.  I do my BEST to carry that energy over into the classroom to make great educational strides with each and every student!!!

 
   I am also a resident of the Spring-Ford School District.   My oldest daughter attends Brooke Elementary School where she is in 2nd grade, and my youngest daughter attends Episcopal Nursery School in Royersford.  They are full of spunk and energy and keep us busy, busy, busy!!!  We try to stay very involved in our community through sports, brownies and other recreational activities.
