Testing Procedures

      Advance notice will be given as units are completed

      Parents will need to sign all tests and return them to Mr. Bergey

Make-Up Policy

      Make-up work will be tailored to fit the individual situation

Homework

      The amount of time spent on the completion of homework will vary from student to student, but an average of thirty minutes should be ample to complete the given assignments.

      Children are expected to write all homework in their homework books everyday.  Students’ homework papers will be found on the left-hand side of their light blue homework folders.

      Each unexcused missing homework assignment will be followed up with an “Ooops!!” paper and/or a phone call home.

      Five unexcused missing homework assignments in any given subject for each marking period will have a negative effect on the student’s final marking period grade.

Class Participation

      Each student is expected to be an active listener.

      Verbal is fundamentally necessary for positive and meaningful class discussion to occur!

Grading Procedures

      We will strictly follow Spring-Ford Area School District’s grading policy, which is as follows:

                  A         100% to 93%                        O         Outstanding

                  B         92% to 85%                           S         Satisfactory

                  C         84% to 77%                           P          Progressing

                  D         76% to 70%                           N         Needs Improvement

                  F          69% and below                     U         Unsatisfactory

The children are to:

      be respectful and considerate of others

      exhibit good manners

      follow all school rules

      make responsible choices
