Reglas de la clase

Class Rules

1.      Be respectful.  Listen to other students as well as the instructor.

2.      Be attentive.  Pay attention and participate.

3.      Be prepared.  Complete assignments and have all materials in class. Your textbook, notebook/paper, and pencil/pen must be brought to class every day.

Class Grading

1.      Participation

a.       You automatically receive 90 participation points at the beginning of each marking period.

b.      You lose points by not contributing to the class.

c.       You also lose points when a disruption continues after a verbal warning. Number of points lost will be determined by the teacher and the type of disruption.

2.      Homework

a.       Homework will be checked, and credit will be issued for completion. No partial credit will be given for incomplete homework.

b.      Announced or unannounced, homework may be collected and graded.

3.      Quizzes

a.       Most quizzes will be announced. There will be quizzes in each chapter leading up to a chapter test.

4.      Assessments

a.       A test will be announced at the end of each chapter.

b.      Speaking and listening assessments will also be included.

c.       The final exam is cumulative.

5.      Projects

a.       Various projects will be assigned throughout the year related to material.
