Spring-Ford Theatre Purpose and Vision:
- It is the intent of Spring-Ford Theatre to simulate a professional theatrical/musical production. This instructional strategy is a hands-on approach designed to teach concepts related to performance art as well as related disciplines.
- Theatre is extra-curricular in name only. We believe it is a fundamental, requisite offering of an American public school.
- Spring-Ford Theatre strives to become a culturally embedded community event, an authentic theater experience for cast and audience, and a point of pride for the Spring-Ford Area School District.
November 16th and 17th, 2018
This brilliant dramatization by Peter Clapham faithfully portrays the characters of Louisa M. Alcott’s novel Little Women, interweaving the lives of the March girls, Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy, and Laurie - the boy next door, as they grow up happily together. All the overtones of gaiety and the undertones of sadness are here, bringing the story completely to life in a way which is both accurate and dramatically satisfying.
Saturday, November 17th - plan to attend the FREE "Mommy & Me" tea event, beginning at 1:30PM. Meet the character while enjoying free light refreshments with tea and assorted beverages. There is no additional cost for the tea event but be sure to select the correct ticket type for the Saturday performance.
Tickets are available in advance online or at the box office the day of the performance.
