The Spring-Ford Educational Foundation, supporting the Spring-Ford Area School District, announced the date of the 5th Annual 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run benefiting the Spring-Ford Area High School Senior Impact Awards.

The Spring-Ford Board of School Directors approved the 2018-2019 School Calendar during the February 26, 2018 Board Meeting. The first day of school will be Monday, August 27, 2018 and the tentative last day of school will be Friday, June 14, 2019.
Spring-Ford Area School District encourages community members and businesses to come together and participate in The Great Kindness Challenge, January 22-26, 2018. The Great Kindness Challenge is a positive, proactive initiative, reaching millions of students during the last full week of January every year.
Spring-Ford Area School District was recognized as one of 447 districts across the U.S. and Canada in the 8th Annual AP District Honor Roll. The Honor Roll honors districts who have increased access to Advanced Placement (AP) course work while simultaneously maintaining or increasing the percentage of students earning scores of 3 or higher on AP Exams. Reaching these goals indicates that these districts are successfully identifying motivated, academically prepared students who are likely to benefit from rigorous AP course work.
The Spring-Ford Board of School Directors held the annual reorganization meeting on Monday, December 4, 2017. The board voted to elect Thomas DiBello as board president and Dawn Heine as vice president. “I want to thank my fellow board members for their support. I am looking forward to a successful school year, and I’d like to welcome the new board members this year,” said DiBello.
The Spring-Ford Area School District music department announced dates for upcoming Winter/Holiday concerts from December 5, 2017 through January 25, 2018.
