The Spring-Ford Area School District's Department of Communications, Marketing and Media serves s a resource for stakeholders to build public understanding and support for the SFASD community. The department supports students and staff through public relations, marketing and community outreach. The Communications Team is responsible for:
- Coordinating employee and parent communications through weekly and monthly eNotices
- Coordinating news media coverage
- Providing community information
- Managing the district website and social media accounts
- Acting as a liaison between the district and various stakeholder groups
- Building and strengthening relationships between the community and the district and developing community partnerships
The Spring-Ford Area School District Board of School Directors appointed Mr. Robert Rizzo as the new Assistant Superintendent during the June 24,
2019 School Board meeting.
The Spring-Ford Board of School Directors voted to approve a one-year agreement with Aramark which will begin July 1, 2019 and will continue through the 2019-2020 school year. Aramark provides food services for hundreds of educational institutions, sports teams and businesses around the world.
S2SS is a life-saving and life-changing school safety program that teaches students, educators, parents and community members how to anonymously report this information through the S2SS app, website, or 24/7 Crisis Center Hotline.

The Spring-Ford Board of School Directors approved the 2019-2020 School Calendar during the January 28, 2019 Board Meeting. The first day of school will be Monday, August 26, 2019 and the tentative last day of school will be Monday, June 15, 2020. Click here to view the full calendar.
