I am so grateful for his compassion and gentle way in helping her navigate school in Covid and guiding her in her with great wisdom in her academic choices. He really goes above and beyond and it's something our family is incredibly thankful for when we think of Spring-Ford. There is a depth of love he has for his students and his job that is something that needs to be recognized publicly. Brad M., Mr. Murless has been one of the greatest blessings to my daughter this year. He has been there for her as she's gone to him to help her navigate her course load and daily stresses of teenage life. I am incredibly grateful for his compassion, insight, and check-ins with her and myself. When I think of a high school guidance counselor for my kids I would've never imagined that they would be so supportive and involved in their students personal growth both academically and social emotional. He's a true gift and I respect him greatly. It's so wonderful to know the guidance counselors at Spring-Ford are top notch not just in guiding our kids in academics but walking with them daily through highs and lows. This summer my daughters and I made a trip out to the West Coast to visit the Grand Canyon. Last year he heard that we were going to be going out West and he asked us to reach out to him so that he could give us some notes and detailed specifics of places to go in the Grand Canyon. So when it was time for our trip we reached out and he not only gave us detailed maps and great suggestions of gorgeous sites to see he also continued to answer our questions while we were out there. He was a wonderful resource for me and I was trying to make some decisions that would determine a course my daughter would go on when it came to success in academics. In addition to him being able to help me see how I need to shift my focus. Also when it was my daughters birthday I asked him if he would send her an email to encourage her. He went above and Beyond and called her on the phone for 20 minutes he encouraged her and they laughed so much. He is someone I admire and would like to honor. From Megan K.
