Good afternoon Spring-Ford Family,

On Monday, February 28, 2022, the Board of School Directors will meet at 7:30 p.m. for a regularly scheduled School Board Meeting at 350 South Lewis Road, Royersford. The meeting will be available for public participation via Zoom or YouTube, and in-person. You'll see a motion on the agenda to amend the Health and Safety Plan effective immediately upon board approval. The amendment recommends that all students and staff wear appropriate face coverings while indoors during school activities.

While this change to “mask recommended” will still require School Board approval, I encourage families to take time over the weekend to discuss what mask recommended might look like for their children. If remaining masked while in school is the best decision for your family, it will be important to make sure your child knows why and understands that it will be their responsibility to wear a mask while in school. Masks will still be available for individuals who wish to remain masked.

Spring-Ford strives to cultivate an atmosphere of acceptance and understanding, and this will be just as important when it comes to each individual's decision to wear a mask or not to wear a mask.
