Good morning Spring-Ford Family,

As you may have seen on the news or online, there have been both founded and unfounded reports that escaped fugitive Danelo Cavalcante may have been seen in northern Chester County, specifically in the Owen J. Roberts area. Spring-Ford Administration and Spring-Ford Police Department have been in contact with law enforcement since he arrived in our area Saturday, and as of this message, we have not been advised to make any changes to our normal opening of school schedule. As a precaution, we will be moving outdoor activities such as physical education and recess indoors today. Our Athletic Department will meet this morning and will decide about afternoon athletic activities mid-day. 

We will continue to stay in contact with law enforcement and will communicate should there be a change in opening schedules this week.
