Staff Spotlight: Wawa Day Brightener
On Tuesday, April 16, the East Coast's favorite hoagie (and coffee) store, Wawa, celebrated its 60th anniversary by offering customers free coffee throughout the day. All Wawa stores selected a "Day Brightening" customer who is "near and dear" to the store team. These special customers received a sash, a Wawa mug, and a week's worth of free coffee.

Royersford Elementary School teacher Katie Vaccaro was one of 1,000 customers in Wawa's coverage area recognized as a Day Brightener.

For those who know Mrs. Vaccaro, this recognition comes as no surprise. She effortlessly creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere in her 1st grade classroom with her infectious smile and boundless enthusiasm. Her genuine passion for teaching radiates through her engaging lessons and creative activities, captivating the hearts and minds of her young students. Mrs. Vaccaro's unwavering dedication leaves a lasting impression on all who have the pleasure of knowing her, making her a cherished figure in the school community and a true Day Brightener!
