Student Spotlight: Unified Track and Field Team
SFASD's Unified Track and Field team hosted a meet against Great Valley and Daniel Boone this week. Huge thanks to athletes, coaching staff, and fans for making this event a huge success!
About Unified Sports: The Special Olympics sports project's vision is to allow high school students to collectively represent their school in a sanctioned activity by participating together on a Unified Sports team.

Community Spotlight: Julia's Palooza
Julia’s PALOOZA to benefit Julia’s Grace Foundation will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022. This year, the Family Fun Fair will feature games, arts & crafts, music, food, raffles and more! It will be held at Brooke Elementary School, Julia’s former school, at 339 N Lewis Road in Royersford from noon to 4 p.m. Tickets are $5 per child and include 10 game tickets. Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.juliasgracefoundation.org/palooza or at the door while supplies last.
SFMA Trivia Night
Support the Spring-Ford Music Association and our friends at the Royersford Fire Department by trying your hand at our annual trivia event. Event details are as follows:
- Teams can be up to a maximum of 10 people
- Winners will be determined after 10 rounds of trivia
- Raffle baskets sponsored by local businesses will be available
- 50/50 raffle
- "Sweet treat" door prizes

Spring-Ford Flyers Event
The Spring-Ford Middle School Jazz Ensemble will be performing from 5:45-6:30 pm. on the Main Concourse of the Wells Fargo Center before the Flyers play the New York Rangers on Wednesday, April 13th. You can join Spring-Ford fans in section 216, and each game ticket is $60. When ordering online, use the last option to purchase game tickets only. Click here to buy tickets.

Spring Break Reminder
This year, Spring-Ford Area School District built one Emergency or Snow Day into the calendar and planned to utilize Virtual or Flexible Instruction Days (FID) in case of an emergency or snow closure. The district used the Emergency/Snow Day on September 2, 2021 following district-wide flooding and power outages. Therefore, April 13, 2022 was changed to an In-Person school day.
- Monday, April 11 - Full Day of School
- Tuesday, April 12 - Full Day of School
- Wednesday, April 13 - Full Day of School
- Thursday, April 14 - Schools and Offices Closed
- Friday, April 15 - Schools and Offices Closed
- Monday, April 18 - Schools and Offices Closed
Rams Rally for Ukraine
The 5/6/7 Grade Center will be hosting a district-wide Rams Rally for Ukraine collection event throughout the month of April. The 5/6/7 Center will serve as Spring-Ford’s collection point for those seeking to donate supplies to displaced people in Ukraine. The donated items will be collected and then dropped off at the United Ukrainian America Relief Committee in Philadelphia.
Saturday Drop Off on April 2, 9, 23, and 30 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the 5/6/7 Center.
Students who attend the 5/6/7 Grade Center may start dropping items off on March 21, 2022. Donations will be made directly to the United Ukrainian American Relief Committee.
