REMINDER: Important Back-to-School Dates

• August 1, 2020 - First Day Verification Opened
• 2020-2021 Schedule/Homeroom Release Dates:
  • K-4: August 19, 2020 at 3 p.m.  
    • Kindergarten assignments will be sent shortly
  • 5th – 8th: August 20, 2020 at 3 p.m.  
  • 9th – 12th: August 21, 2020 at 3 p.m.

Please note, teacher information, homerooms and schedules will not be available until your First Day Verification is complete.

Technology Department Update
Students in Grades 9-12: As part of Spring-Ford’s multi-year Modernizing Learning plan, all students in grades 9-12 were scheduled to receive a district-deployed device this summer. Please email supportcenter@spring-ford.net if your student did not attend their assigned Laptop Distribution date(s) to arrange for device pickup.

Students in Grades 7-8: All students in grades 7 and 8 will receive a device this school year. Devices will be deployed before the start of school, and additional information will be sent to families next week.

Students in Grades K-6: When considering reopening plans for the 2020-2021 school year, families were asked to respond to a device need survey to get a better idea of how many additional devices the district would need to purchase. Based on the survey results additional devices were purchased and will be available for distribution. Additional information about the K-6 devices will be sent from the Technology Department when devices are ready to be deployed. Please keep in mind that the device survey was NOT a confirmation of an order, simply a survey to gain more information.

7-12 Schedule Update
Based on feedback at the August 3rd School Board Meeting, the Virtual Learning schedule for grades 7-12 is in the process of being updated. Updates will be shared as soon as possible.
