2021-2022 School Calendar
The Spring-Ford Board of School Directors approved the 2021-2022 School Calendar at the January Board Meeting. The first day of school will be Monday, August 30, 2021, and the last day of school will be Friday, June 10, 2022.

This year, Spring-Ford Area School District will have one built-in “traditional” Snow Day and will use up to five Flexible Instruction Days (FID) in place of emergency days. If there is a need to close due to snow, the first Snow Day of the year will be a “traditional” Snow Day, and April 13, 2022 will change to an In-Person school day. Spring-Ford has been approved to use up to five FID’s in the 2021-2022 school year. FID’s will be used for any additional weather or emergency-related closure following the first “traditional” snow day.

We recognize that the responsibility for diversity and inclusion lies with all of us at SFASD: leadership, administration, faculty, staff, and students. In an effort to promote an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity within our school community, the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee has compiled a Calendar of Observances to use as a tool to increase awareness of and respect for observations, ethnic and cultural festivities, and other important dates that may affect students, employees, and neighbors in our community.

Committee members referenced the Nationals School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) 2020-2021 School Calendar Guide and the 2020 Anti-Defamation League Calendar of Observances Guide to compile the list below. Click here to learn more.
