K-4 Report Card Review Input for Families
As we are always considering improving processes and family experience, we are gathering input regarding our K-4 report cards.
We are considering a move to standards based reporting occurring every 12 weeks of instruction. This change would allow more time between periods to assess the progress of students towards end of year standards. Additionally, we are seeking ways to improve the ways in which standards mastery is shared. We are seeking family input in order to understand how best to communicate student progress. Please consider the current report card timing and current report card design and if you would like to provide input, complete the survey linked here by Monday, March 18th.
If you have any questions, please contact Catie Gardy, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, (cgard@spring-ford.net) or Brianna Angelucci, Elementary Curriculum Supervisor, (bange@spring-ford.net).
Middle School Spring Play, Aesop, Come Back!
On Friday, March 15th at 7 pm in the 8th Grade Center auditorium, the Middle School will perform their spring show, the comedy Aesop, Come Back! by Joshua Mikel.
To prove that Aesop was history's greatest fabulist, a group of storytellers cracks the spine of a massive edition of Aesop's Fables, releasing the old man's most memorable characters into the theater. The cast and crew are made up of 7th and 8th grade students.
Ms. Cheryl West an Mrs. Joan Kenney are the directors, with Mr. Todd Bowers handling the stage crew. Still the best deal in town, the cost of admission is only $5 a ticket. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
