attendance reporting information
To report absences for any reason, parents are requested to call the Attendance Line prior to 9:00 a.m. on the day of the absence. The line operates 24 hours.

A note or verified email from the parent explaining the specific reason for the absence is required by State law. This note must be received within 3 days of the pupil’s return to school and should be placed in the attendance bin in your house office. This note should include the child’s full name, date of absence, reason, and homeroom number.
The Builders Club is once again collecting pop-tabs to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House of Philadelphia.
The collection runs from 3/11 - 3/25

CAREER DAY VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY!
Are you interested in sharing your career experiences with Spring-Ford’s 6th grade students? We have a perfect opportunity for you! We are interested in hearing from all kinds of professions that could inspire our students!
WHEN: Thursday, May 30 from 1:30 to 3:30
WHERE: Spring-Ford Intermediate Center, 833 South Lewis Road, Royersford
DETAILS: We will offer three 30-minute sessions to our entire 6th grade student body. Each speaker will participate in all three sessions to maximize the number of options. Sessions will run:
Session 1 - 1:35 to 2:05 p.m.
Session 2 - 2:15 to 2:45 p.m.
Session 3 - 2:55 to 3:25 p.m.

We are pleased to announce that our 6th grade class will once again be going to Perkiomen Pines to celebrate the end of the year! Perkiomen Pines is a day camp facility that boasts multi-purpose playing fields, two (2) swimming pools, a lake, twin zip lines, climbing tower, low ropes courses, boats, fishing, and a giant swing. Students will attend during school hours, 5/20-22, one team per day. The fee is $60/student and includes all of the activities listed above, transportation to/from Perkiomen Pines, and lunch. Lunch will include hamburgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, cheese, beans, chips, coleslaw, potato salad, corn bread, salad bar, dressings, condiments, juice, water, and tea.

There are two (2) steps that parents need to take in order for the student to attend the field trip:
1. Complete the PERKIOMEN PINES PERMISSION SLIP
2. Pay the $60/student fee via SCHOOL PAY Payment and permission slips are due by Friday, 4/26/24. You may also send check/cash in a clearly marked envelope to school with your child. Checks should be made payable to SFASD.
We are pleased to announce that the 5th grade class will once again be participating in an Extravaganza. The Extravaganza takes place on school property, during the school day on Tuesday, 5/21, and allows students to enjoy a variety of bounce houses, face painting, a rock wall, DJ, photo booth, team colored shirt, soft pretzels, water ice, ice cream, and popcorn. The cost is $35 per student to participate and can be paid using School Pay. A link is provided below. If you have never used School Pay, you must create an account before making payment. You can also send cash or check (made payable to SFASD) in a clearly marked envelope to school with your child.
There are three (3) steps that each parent must take in order for student participation:
1. Select a t-shirt size by Friday, 2/9 by clicking HERE
2. Complete the PERMISSION SLIP by Friday, 4/26.
3. Pay $35 fee via SCHOOL PAY by Friday, 4/26. (Both the fee and the permission slip need to be completed before student can participate).

The 5th/6th Grade yearbooks are now available for pre-purchase. Yearbooks are not guaranteed to be available to students who have not pre-purchased. Please click HERE to order.
