2019-2019 SPORTS REGISTRATION: All students interested in getting a physical, must complete the online sports registration BEFORE attending the physical to ensure registration is complete and eligible for tryouts. ONLINE SPORTS REGISTRATION OPENS MAY 25TH. All sports physicals for the 2019-2020 school year must be performed after June 1, 2019. Physicals can be done by the students family physician or at the school on the above dates.

The permission slips and $25 payment deadline for the 7th grade Mermaid Lake Picnic has been extended to Friday, April 26th. Activities include use of the swimming pool and slides, basketball courts, volleyball courts, softball fields, tennis courts, and horseshoe pits. You don't want to miss it! The 7th grade end-of-year picnic will take place on Friday, June 7, 2019. Permission Slip and fee must be received by April 19, 2019. CLICK HERE for permission slip. Students will travel by school bus to Mermaid Lake in Blue Bell at approximately 9:30 a.m. and will return by approximately 2:00 p.m. Admission, which includes a catered picnic lunch, with beverages and dessert, will cost each student $25.00. We have had a great fundraising campaign running at the 7th grade center. In five days students, parents and staff have given $5448 in donations! The fundraiser continues until Thursday so it's not too late to send in your donations! Checks can be made out to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or send in cash or change. LLS and the 7th grade center thank you for your support!

Our after school homework club runs every Monday and Wednesday from the conclusion of school until 4:00 PM unless otherwise announced. CLICK HERE for signup form (please print and return to school.) The main objective of our program is to provide a quiet place to complete homework and/or have a teacher available should your child have questions related to homework, studying for tests, or completing projects. All students must have made prior arrangements to be transported home.

2019-2020 School Calendar

The Spring-Ford Board of School Directors approved the 2019-2020 School Calendar during the January 28, 2019 Board Meeting. The first day of school will be Monday, August 26, 2019 and the tentative last day of school will be Monday, June 15, 2020.

2019 Commencement Ceremony

Spring-Ford Area High School's Graduation Ceremony will be held on FRIDAY, June 14, 2019 at 7 p.m. - rain or shine! The location is dependent upon the weather. If the skies are clear, the ceremony will take place outside in Coach McNelly Stadium. If inclement weather, the ceremony will take place in the 10-12th Grade Center. The Spring-Ford Area School District was recently selected by the Pennsylvania Department of Education to receive a $35,000 grant through the PAsmart Program to grow the current Ram QUEST program in grades 1 through 6. RAM Quest is a class where students engage in authentic learning experiences in which they have to think critically and creatively to solve problems, to inquire, and to explore.
