We have had a great fundraising campaign running at the 7th grade center. In five days students, parents and staff have given $5448 in donations! The fundraiser continues until Thursday so it's not too late to send in your donations! Checks can be made out to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or send in cash or change. LLS and the 7th grade center thank you for your support!

Our after school homework club runs every Monday and Wednesday from the conclusion of school until 4:00 PM unless otherwise announced. CLICK HERE for signup form (please print and return to school.) The main objective of our program is to provide a quiet place to complete homework and/or have a teacher available should your child have questions related to homework, studying for tests, or completing projects. All students must have made prior arrangements to be transported home.

March 19th – 28th is our yearly Leukemia Lymphoma Pennies for Patients campaign. We will be collecting donations until Thursday, March 28th. Students can bring in change, bills, or checks made out to The Leukemia Lymphoma Society. Since 2013 the 7th grade center has made donations to LLS for over $24,000. This year, we have set a goal to raise $5000. Will you help us reach that goal to help support patients, their families, and the efforts of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society? We are hoping for another great year! Thank you!

The 7th and 8th grade are putting on a production of "The True Story of Hey Diddle Diddle" by Bradley Walton. It will be Friday, April 5th at 7 pm in the 8th Grade Center Auditorium. Tickets are $3 per person and sold at the door.

We all know the nursery rhyme "Hey Diddle Diddle," but when you stop to think about it...how can a cow jump over the moon? If a cat could play the fiddle, wouldn't it be all over the internet? Why is a dish running away with a spoon? What's the little dog actually laughing at? And how do they all connect with each other? This family comedy offers seven different outlandish tales speculating about what might be "The True Story of Hey Diddle Diddle."

SAVE THE DATE......unfortunately, due to weather conditions, the annual Multicultural Thanksgiving had to be cancelled. Instead, we are hosting a Spring Harvest on Friday, April 12th at the 5/6/7 Center from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. It will be the same concept as the Multicultural Thanksgiving- sign up to bring a dish native to your culture, bring it with you and share with other parents, classmates and faculty. Click Here for sign up information.

March 19th- 28th the 7th grade center will be running their yearly fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. More important detailed information will be available soon! Today and March 15th , a representative from LLS will be speaking with students about Leukemia and other blood cancers during PE classes. The curriculum currently being taught in our health classes is on the circulatory system and this LLS presentation will help to further expand that lesson. We appreciate your support during our fundraiser on the 19th.

If your family likes to travel over Spring Break, please keep the following PSSA dates in mind when making arrangements:

Monday, April 15 ELA PSSA TESTING grades 5 - 7 Tuesday, April 16 ELA PSSA TESTING grades 5 - 7 Wednesday, April 24 ELA PSSA TESTING grades 5 - 7 Monday, April 29 MATH PSSA TESTING grades 5 - 7 Tuesday, April 30 MATH PSSA TESTING grades 5 - 7

7TH Grade students are invited to join the Board Game Club or Chess Club. These clubs will be meeting every Monday after school until 4 PM in room E242. Students do not need a permission form or to sign up before, but they should arrange a ride to pick them up at 4 PM in the back of the 7th grade center. If students have questions please have them check in with Mrs. Gabel and Mr. Reagan in room 242. Click here for more info
