The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania School Health Law (Pa Code 23.3a) mandates students to have a current dental examinations on file in health office upon entry into 7th grade. A dental report dated July 1, 2023 or after is acceptable for this state mandated health requirement. We recommend that this examination be performed by your family dentist since they can best evaluate your child’s health status and assist you in obtaining the necessary treatments and corrections.  Please send your completed dental exam forms to:

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania School Immunization Law (Pa Code 23.83) requires children enrolled in school to provide evidence of proper immunization for certain diseases within the first 5 days of school.

 Meningococcal conjugate (MenACWY) and tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis (Tdap) are required for entry into 7^th grade.  Please check your student’s Skyward account under Health info: Display options -> Show vaccinations to see if they have not received the required vaccines for entry into 7^th grade. These vaccines may or may not have been given with the 6^th grade physical, so please check with your child’s physician.

Proof of completion of administration of the series or a medical certificate documenting the next scheduled dose MUST be received by August 30, 2024 without exception or your child may not attend school after the said date. Please consult your physician.
