RAM Watch

Spring-Ford RAM Watch

You are the ones who really know who is in trouble, who needs help. They are your friends, and you are the ones who can help watch out for them better than anyone else. RAM Watch was designed to give you a safe and anonymous way to watch out for those friends.

INTRAMURAL DODGE BALL

Intramural dodge ball will begin on Tuesday, September 11th. Dodge ball begins after school at 3:00 p.m. and runs until 4:00 p.m. Students are expected to have a ride ready to pick them up by 4:00 p.m. Dodge ball intramurals will be held on various days throughout the week. Any student interested in participating must see Mr. Robison in room 113 for a permission slip. Students must have a signed permission slip in order to play.

DODGEBALL WILL BE HELD:

There will be dodgeball everyday for the next three weeks beginning October 15th. The only day dodgeball will not occur is Friday, October 19th. Intramural dodgeball will end November 2nd. There is still time to sign up for dodgeball for anyone who wants to participate. See Mr. Robison in room 113.

The Pennsylvania Department of Education just launched the Future Ready PA Index, an online, one-stop shop that provides a clear and easy-to-navigate platform for viewing information on student and school success. The Future Ready PA Index moves beyond focusing solely on standardized test results to evaluate success by using a collection of indicators, which illustrate academic proficiency, college and career readiness, and more. November 27, 2019: Prevention Resources for Parents

Caron's Student Assistance Program presents PREP, Prevention Resources and Education for Parents, a program designed for parents and caregivers of children in middle school and high school. The program is facilitated by professionals in the field of addiction treatment: provide information on current youth drug trends, such as vaping, and the dangers of use to the developing brain and body; empower parents and caregivers with effective communication skills when talking with their children about alcohol, tobacco and other drug use; review the importance of establishing clear rules and consequences at home regarding substance use; evaluate resiliency factors that help protect kids from substance use; provide local resources if addiction support is needed. We have been advised by the Royersford Police Department that the parking spaces on Washington Street, from 7th Ave to the Needleworks building (in front of the row homes) are now Permit Parking Only. There is no allowed non-permit time limit. (It used to be 2 hours non-permit). Please do not park there before, during and/or after school.Royersford Police Officers vigilantly enforce this regulation.

It is recommended that parents park in the parking lot between the 8th Grade Center and the 9th Grade Center for afterschool and evening activities.

Although schedules will not be ready until August 16th at 4:00 p.m., we have attached teacher supply lists by subject. Until your child actually meets their teachers, these lists are strictly a guideline for possible supplies.
