About Oaks

The Oaks Elementary School is the home for nearly 550 students in grades K-4. Our school is located in Upper Providence Township in Montgomery County.

Oaks is currently comprised of four kindergarten classrooms, six first grade classrooms, five second grades, five third grades, and five fourth grades. Approximately 60 staff members work in a variety of capacities throughout the school.

The Oaks Elementary School, at its current address, opened for students in 1967. An addition was added to the building in 1997. This addition gave the school fourteen new classrooms, along with four small-group seminar rooms. In 2000-01, the building was renovated and added a new gymnasium and library.

Our school provides a spectrum of learning programs to meet the needs of all children in attendance.
