Spring-Ford Virtual Academy
Spring-Ford Area School District is pleased to offer the Spring-Ford Virtual Academy. The SFVA has been developed in partnership with VLN Partners, and is available to any student grades 4 through 12 who live in our school district and are currently enrolled in a Cyber Charter or Traditional Charter School. The SFVA offers students the opportunity to engage in personalized education, with the added benefit of being eligible to participate in many SFASD extra-curricular activities.
There are three options for the SFVA:
- Traditional on-line Cyber school program (full-time).
- Hybrid model which allows a student to take up to two classes in their home school building if interested, and the remaining courses taken on-line.
- Students in grades 10, 11 and 12 can opt to attend a half day at the Western Montgomery Career and Technical Center (WMCTC) partnered with the remaining courses taken on-line.
Enrolling in the Spring-Ford Virtual Academy is the same process as enrolling a traditional student. Please note that only current Charter or Cyber Charter School Students who will be in grades 4 through 12 are eligible to enroll. You must also be within the geographical area of the Spring-Ford Area School District.
