SF Music Educators' Peformance Gala Information with Tuxedo and Music NoteSee what makes music at Spring-Ford so good, watch our highly-talented staff perform for you! Featuring Music Educators from across the Spring-Ford Area School District. Tickets are available in advance or at the door the evening of the event.

DATE: January 18, 2019, 7PM at the Spring-Ford 9th Grade Center Auditorium. Doors open at 6:30 pm.

COST: $12 per Adult; $8 per Student/Senior

Carnival Tents with Balloons and words "Winter Dance"This year's Freshman/Sophomore dance is on Saturday, February 23rd. Interested in bringing a guest from another school? Guest Forms are available in the 9GC and 10th Grade House offices. Completed forms MUST be returned to the appropriate office no later than Monday, January 28th. Tickets for guests cannot be purchased without an approved Guest Form.

Trying to improve your ASVAB score this year? The FPC recommends getting a competitive edge by practicing now! Here's how:

          • Sign up for Kaplan's FREE online ASVAB prep. Sessions are limited - The 1st is Saturday, November 3rd.

Open Mic will take place on Thursday, February 14th in the Media Center of the 10-12 Center, beginning at 2:45PM! All students, grades 9-12 are invited to perform or attend.

Tickets for this Ramoirs sponsored event are one dollar and will be on sale from February 4th through the day of the event. See you there!

Interested in performing? Sign up on line or in room 190 of the 10-12 Center by Thursday, February 7th.

Healthy Relationships HeartAll students are welcomed to this Spring-Ford Aevidum & Resiliency Clubs sponsored event. Plan to attend on Tuesday, February 12th at 2-4PM in the Hurda Learning Center of the 10-12 Center. Guest speaker event discussion will revolve around healthy relationships at home, with friends and romantic relationships. There will be opportunities for students to participate and learn how to support others.

Sign up in room 103 of the 10-12 Center or any of the house offices.

Ramoirs Magazine BannerInterested in sharing your creative talents? Ramoirs is looking to publish student pieces in the 2018-19 edition of the literary magazine. Consider submitting an original short story, poem, photographs, drawings, etc.

And, while the "Finding Your Place" contest deadline has passed, there will be prizes awarded for outstanding submissions in a number of categories! Click here for information regarding this great opportunity open to all Spring-Ford students in grades 9-12.

The Pennsylvania Department of Education just launched the Future Ready PA Index, an online, one-stop shop that provides a clear and easy-to-navigate platform for viewing information on student and school success. The Future Ready PA Index moves beyond focusing solely on standardized test results to evaluate success by using a collection of indicators, which illustrate academic proficiency, college and career readiness, and more. Under Construction Sign

Despite rain throughout the summer, construction at the High School 10-12 Center is well under way. The new corridor is beginning to take shape as is the Performing Arts area.
Beginning with the 2018-19 school year, parent drop-off and pick-up has been altered. Click here for a detailed diagram. For everyone's safety, please be sure to follow the pattern outlined in the photo.

SFASD was pleased to announce the third annual Golden Ram Award winners at the district's annual Convocation! The Golden Ram Award identified and recognized Spring-Ford staff members' outstanding performance and commitment to education. Golden Ram Award recipients demonstrated an attitude of excellence, teamwork, and went "above and beyond" the expectations of their job duties. All staff members who were full-time or part-time employees, with one or more years of service, were eligible to be nominated by a co-worker, supervisor or someone from another department.

Congratulations to: Mrs. Laura McNeil Murphy (Evans Elementary School Nurse); Mr. Shawn Riordan (Limerick and Spring City Ram QUEST Teacher); Dr. Patrick Nugent (SFAHS Principal).
