About UPES [+]

Dear Upper Providence Community,

My name is Ms. Cooper, and I am both honored and excited to join this incredible community of learners, educators, and families.

First and foremost, I want to express my deep gratitude for the warm reception I have already received from many of you. It is evident that Upper Providence is a place filled with caring, engaged, and dedicated individuals, and I feel fortunate to be a part of this community.

Allow me to share a little bit about myself. I started my career in the Reading School District teaching first grade for seven years. From there I became a building administrator, beginning as an Assistant Principal and then Principal for the remainder of my tenure in the district. I am coming from the Twin Valley School District where I served as an Elementary Principal and most recently the Middle School Principal.

My hope for Upper Providence is to continue building on its reputation for academic excellence, creativity, and a nurturing learning environment. I am dedicated to maintaining a school culture that values diversity, inclusivity, and a love for learning. Together, we will create an atmosphere where every student feels supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their fullest potential.

I am eager to get to know each of you and your children. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, concerns, or if you simply want to say hello. My door, and email box, is always open, and I value the partnership between home and school. I am looking forward to a fantastic school year filled with exciting learning experiences, meaningful connections, and shared successes. Thank you for entrusting us with the education and well-being of your children.

Warm regards,
Ms. Chasity Cooper
