Course and Program Information
Mandatory Student/Parent Information Session
Any student (and their parent) who registers for a summer course must attend one of the Summer School Information Sessions. The first session will be held on Monday, June 22, 2020 at 8:00 am in the Hurda Learning Center, and the 2nd session will be held on Monday, June 22, 2020 at 6:00 pm in the Hurda Learning Center. If the student/parent does not attend either of these meetings, the student will not be able to take the course. This meeting is mandatory for all summer school students and parents are encouraged to attend if possible.
Computer Access
Computer access will be available on scheduled dates throughout the summer. Please contact Mrs. Benner (tbenn@spring-ford.net) or Mrs. Iannetta (ciann@spring-ford.net) in the Future Planning center for available dates.
STUDENTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO TAKE A FINAL COMPREHENSIVE EXAM FOR ALL FOUNDERS COURSES UNDER SPRING-FORD STAFF SUPERVISION.
THERE WILL BE ONE SESSION FOR ONLINE TESTING:
Exam Period: Monday August 3rd through Thursday August 6th.
WEEKDAYS ONLY.
Students will be able to schedule their exam between 9am-11am and 1pm-3pm, Monday through Thursday, during the exam week. Students will schedule their exam online using the link provided by Spring-Ford.
All exams must be taken before your course end date. All course work must be completed before taking the final exam. When you go to school, please make sure to take with you - your username, password, the course web address.
Registration and Schedule
- Review course selections with your Counselor.
- Registration Due Date: June 26, 2020.
- Start Date: Approximately 7 days after receipt of registration and payment.
- End Date: Abbreviated courses must be completed within 60 days of the student's start date, but no later than August 9, 2020 by 11:59pm, EST. Half and quarter year abbreviated courses must be completed within 30 days of the student's start date, but no later than August 9, 2020 by 11:59pm, EST.
- All courses are self-paced, though students must complete them by the designated end date.
